Enhance Your Technical Hardware and Software Skills

Skills in Technology (SIT)

The SIT training program is a 18-week IT online training program designed to provide participants with practical technical and soft skills to secure sustainable employment in the field.

Through this IT program, eligible Ontario Works participants will have the opportunity to acquire practical skills and theory that prepare them for:

  • CompTIA A+ Certification
  • Cisco CCNA

Upon completion and certification, our Job Developer will work with the participants in finding employment. This Instructor-led training will be online and in person (hybrid) and in English.

Each candidate must meet these requirements for consideration:

  • 17 years old and older
  • Minimum High School Diploma
  • English Benchmark level 5
  • Not currently in school full time
  • Ontario Works recipient (Toronto/Scarborough Area)
  • Must be Computer Savvy with Windows Environment Knowledge/Experience

Training will be delivered ONLINE (via Zoom) and IN-PERSON (at PCPI)
