Enhance Your Technical Hardware and Software Skills

Skills in Technology (SIT)

Intake is now closed.

The SIT training program is a 16-week IT hybrid training program designed to provide participants with practical technical and soft skills to secure sustainable employment in the field.

Through this IT program, eligible Ontario Works participants will have the opportunity to acquire practical skills and theory that prepare them for:

  • CompTIA A+ Certification
  • Microsoft Azure Fundamentals AZ-900 Certification

Upon completion and certification, our Job Developers will work with the participants in finding employment. This Instructor-led training will be delivered in English online and in person (hybrid).

Each candidate must meet these requirements for consideration:

  • Minimum High School Diploma
  • Not currently in school full time
  • Ontario Works recipient (Toronto/Scarborough Area)
  • Must have intermediate to advance computer knowledge

Training begins

March 3, 2025

Training will be delivered ONLINE (via Zoom) and IN-PERSON (at PCPI’s, 1200 Markham Road site in Scarborough.)
